Pay Attention to Your Feelings

Your feelings are important. It's perfectly ok to feel what you feel. It's actually a requirement to being human that you FEEL things. You feel so that you are AWARE of what is going on in your life. When you feel GOOD, it encourages you to keep going in that direction, it allows you to know that you should keep doing what you are doing to prolong or keep that feeling of JOY. In the exact same way, you feel bad so that you are AWARE that you are going in the wrong direction. Feeling bad is a sign that you are not happy with what is going on. Feeling uncomfortable, anxious or stressed encourages you to make CHANGES so that you no longer feel bad. Pay attention to your feelings, they're yours and they are a gift... feel what you feel, but remember, your gift of feelings are yours to USE in order to navigate YOUR life into a positive and loving direction. - Diane Quartly
